About once a month I get a crazy itch to travel! most of the time I'm not able to satisfy that itch but this month is different. I was able to catch a ride with some other Trinity students who are heading out to the east coast. They are able to drop me off along the way near Philadelphia where my brother and his family live. Ill get to spend thanksgiving day with them. yes I'm a little excited!
So I have been thinking over another crazy thought. Thinking of starting another blog about traveling. Starting with going out and reviewing Chicago land day get a way's. my weekends are free for the most part so I was thinking of taking the opportunity to do a bit of exploring of this great city. I have spent my entire life in Illinois and am excited with the prospect of discovering things i never knew where there.
I also have some grand ideas for traveling abroad in the next couple of years so will be looking for a traveling buddies for that! Let me know if your interested!
We will see where this takes me! I love the adventurer of life!

Rant
First I want to apologize to anyone who reads this and plays the guitar. I'm sure not everyone is like this but I'm finding it more true the more I get to know those people who play the guitar.
People who play the guitar are very inconsistent and inconsiderate people. Here is my example. have you ever played on a worship team where the lead guitar player frustrates you to no end? ok first you waste a 1/4 tank of gas to get to practice then sit around for more then an hour to wait for this lead guitar player to show up. then you end up not getting home till really late because the lead guitar player doesn't know the music very well and cant seem to get a handle on it. Now you are not only tired but also bored out of your mind. This also results in not getting enough sleep so your crabby and sleepy all though work the next day.
grrrr people please know what you are doing, learn your music and if your going to be late then have the start time be LATER!!!!!
ok im done..... again sorry if this is not you.....

First thoughts
A thought came to me at Bible study this morning. This was at about 8am so I wouldn't give it much credit but I will share it anyway.
I don't like coffee. I hate coffee. It has a bitter, awful taste. (Sorry to those of you who live off the stuff, I mean no offense). But as of 4 weeks ago I tried the stuff to keep me awake thought my Saturday morning Bible study. To be honest its about a 1/4 cup of coffee and the rest of it is milk and sugar. That terrible bitter taste still came though! But today that bitter taste was over shadowed by the sweet milk and sugar combo.
I liked it. Yep that's right... I liked it. With this thought came the horrifying thought this was so much like sin. At first we find it offensive and bitter. But over a short period of time it soon becomes interesting, maybe even sweet. hmmm interesting.
So that's my thought... what do you think of my first thought?
